Rachel Hahs is a Principal | Biomimic at Biomimicry 3.8, a certified BCorp and social enterprise dedicated to helping change-makers create a more sustainable world by emulating nature’s designs and core principles. A Certified Biomimicry Professional and natural systems thinker, Rachel leverages her extensive background in environmental and sustainability consulting and biomimicry to help sustainability leaders align business success with regenerative outcomes. Rachel contributes to B3.8’s thought leadership, communications, project management and delivery, and development of internal tools to support exceptional project delivery. She also supports collaboration with strategic partners to expand delivery and implementation of biomimicry-based solutions at scale through B3.8’s Project Positive. Rachel holds a Master of Science in Biomimicry from Arizona State University. She lives in Chicago with her husband, three kids, dog, and a growing community of species in her postage-stamp yard.
